Main Article Content
Abstract
This article examines the impact of using TED-type platforms to promote meaningful participation among university students. Based on a case study conducted in the Psychopedagogy program at the Technical University of Ambato, the research shows how integrating audiovisual resources such as TED and TED-Ed videos can foster student engagement, motivation, and classroom interaction. Using a quantitative research approach, with surveys and non-parametric statistical analysis, the study found that students perceive these platforms as effective tools for self-directed learning and active participation. The article concludes by emphasizing the need to integrate innovative educational technologies in higher education settings, not merely as teaching aids, but as essential elements in transforming the teaching-learning process.
